Supreme Court Denies Writs
On September 19, 2014 the Supreme Court of the State of Louisiana denied writs requested by 47 school systems in the EBR et al v. LSERS suit which was filed in 2005.
This ruling brings the case to a conclusion favorable to LSERS holding that the mechanism through which employer contributions are funded within the MFP is constitutional.

Annual Privatization Questionnaire Due by October 1
The Annual Privatization Questionnaire was distributed via e-mail to all systems on August 15, 2014 and is required to be completed by each Superintendent and returned to LSERS by October 1, 2014.

Exception Report Now Available Online!
Employers can now view their Contribution Exception Report through the secure online portal LSERSWeb. Here are the general steps to access the report and procedures for clearing the exceptions are located on the website:
- Login at www.lsers.net
- Click on Reports
- Click on Contribution Exception Report
- Select through which month to view and click View Report
All corrections may be processed through LSERSWeb using one of the online forms, i.e. Contributions Corrections Report (CCR), Termination, or Enrollment.

After DROP Enrollments Now Available Online
Employers can now use the online Enrollment form to re-enroll members who complete their DROP participation and work at least 30 days after completing DROP. According to state law, LSERS members must work at least 30 days before employers can re-enroll the member into LSERS. Once the member works 30 days, an enrollment can be processed reflecting the date after their DROP end date.
